Working across all the QM Records endeavors, Events, Releases and Studio Management. Being on top of the general workings of music releases (PR, Social Media, Playlisting), Events (Working closely with acts and venues), Studio (working closely with our studio partner AudioActive to promote and manage the space Bottega Rooms).
Liaising with current brand partners and researching future brand partners. The individual will update QM Directors on Artists progress, manage release deadlines, providing weekly/monthly analysis of general progress (streams, social media numbers, practice room numbers, event numbers).
Research prospective artists to release and to perform at shows. Creating PR campaigns for releases and events. Researching possible press specific to artists (Radio Stations, Magazines, Online Publications, Blogs). Managing the digital marketing and social media budget. Working on and executing digital marketing strategies across different platforms - Instagram, Facebook, Google, Youtube, Spotify, Creating Social media plans with Artists and working towards the execution of the plans, Posting on QM Records Pages and Artist Pages.
Essential skills, experience and qualifications
Looking for an ambitious individual based in the Brighton area. No experience needed, all training will be provided.
This person must be a proactive person with good attention to details. This candidate must be very good at multitasking and cool under pressure. They must have good communication skills with both members of the team and external contacts. Must be extremely organised and not afraid to take initiative. They must be friendly and approachable and remain calm when faced with competing demands. They should be able to deal with the ebbs and flows of the work patterns. They must be able to commit to work tasks, take ownership of their own work, but also be able to ask for help when it’s needed, and listen to and take direction. They must have an interest in working in music / creative industries. They must show sensitivity in working with vulnerable people and have a commitment to equality and inclusivity.
